France's Loire Valley still makes some of the best Sauvignon Blanc wines. Domaine Pichon Estate is located in the picturesque village Vallée near Nantes, 50 km from the shores of the Atlantic Ocean. The young wine-maker Claude-Michel is sixth generation successor to the wine family Pichon.

Surprisingly fruity for a French sauvignon blanc, but not overly fruity. Just the right acidity and goes very well with most dishes or just as a tipple or sitting back and relaxing.

A delightful crisp, fruity unoaked white wine from Verdejo and Sauvignon Blanc grapes sourced from the estate's coolest high altitude vines within the Almansa region of Spain. The grapes are hand selected and harvested at night during the first two weeks of September and then fermented at low temperature for around 2 weeks. The wine is then aged for a further 3-4 months on fine lees with regular manual bâtonnage. Intense citrus, lime and tropical notes and a persistent finish. Food-friendly wine to enjoy!
